It lies to the immediate southeast of the Aksar Subdistrict, 24 km far from Bayburt. It lies in the east-west direction, and to the north runs the Bayburt-Gümüshane motorway. At present, it has been destroyed to a great extent as half of the mound has been cultivated. It is rich in ceramics, yielding sherds from the EBA, Iron Age and Late Roman Period. |
