It is situated north of Aslanli Village of Tuzluca District in Igdir. The fortress was built for controlling the valley where it arises. It was discovered during a survey performed by A. Ceylan et al. in 2007. It is a small fortress built on a rocky hill. The fortress walls were built with cyclopean technique, and approximately a 2 m long section of these walls remained. Iron Age and Medieval Age sherds were obtained at the fortress during the survey [Ceylan 2009:137]. |
