It is situated on a very high rocky hill approximately 2 km southwest of Tepeli Village east of Patnos Plain in Agri. The fortress has a rectangular plan and measures 146x37-55 m. The encompassing wall has a thiickness of 2.5 m and stone blocks measuring 0.40x0.70 m were used in its construction. There is a building that measures 43x38 m at the paek of the hill in the east end. There is a 15 m gap between the structure and the encompassing wall in the east, and a 25 m gap in the south. The wall thickness of the structure is 2.5 m. There are wall remains where the plan is unidentified in the west of the fortress. The fortress entrance of 5 m width, 3.5 m height is in this direction. The grey-black ware are the most common ware observed in Agri region during Iron Age. Carinated and fluted short neck jars and basic rim, fluted short necks are the most common forms. The cemetery is on the north slope, it was identified and pblished by V. Sevin. The graves are simple and consist of stone masonry. Coded M68/19 [Özfirat 2009:350].
