It is situated on a high rocky hill southwest of Dizginkale Village of Patnos District in Agri. Although there are Early Iron Age sherds it seems to be more frequently inhabited during Middle Iron Age. It was surveyed in 2006 by A. Özfirat et al.. Since the topography formed the basis of the fortress construction its actual plan could not be exactly identified. THe encompassing walls are approximately 130x80 m, with a thickness of 3.3 m. The walls can be observed in east, west and south directions. Coded N68/1[Ozfirat 2008:205].
