It was built on the rocky hill located east of Asagikatirli Village which is 28 km south of Tuzluca District in Igdir. It was surveyed by A. Bingöl et al. in 2008. The fortress was built in north-south direction by roughly carving the bedrock and only 1.5 m wide walls remained of the 4 m wide walls. The sherds foound belong to Iron Age and Medieval Age [Bingöl et al. 2010:388]. |
