It is situated north of Asik Hüseyin hamlet which makes part of Asagikatirli Village 28 km south of Tuzluca District in Igdir. It was surveyed by A. Bingöl et al in 2008. It was built on a rocky hill, in east-west direction, suitable to the topography. The fortress dimensions are 53x87 m and it is accessible through a 4 m wide gate in northeast direction. Fortification width is 4 m. There is a settlement location east of the fortress which is believed to be ralated with the fortress. The sherds found in the fortress belong to EBA (Karaz), Early Iron Age and Medieval Age [Bingöl et al. 2010.387].
