It was surveyed by Ökse et al. within the scope of the 2008 Ilisu Dam Construction Site Survey. Besides the Neolithic Age finds there were Chalcolithic Age, EBA, MBA and Iron Age material [Ökse et al. 2010:342]. It was surveyed within the scope of "Ilisu Dam Building Area Survey" by H. Taskiran and M. Kartal in 2008. The surface finds are denser below the Koçtepe-Koçyurdu motorway which is over this slope settlement where a spring (hagiasm) and a fountain lies west of Koçtepe Village, and 750 m northeast of Koçtepe where the fields of the village are at. Coded T64/20 [Taskiran-Kartal 2010:236]. |
