It is located in the middle of a fertile plain, 2 km south of the Çayir Village, 3 km southeast of the Gökcebag Village, 7 km west of Merzifon. It was named after the local site as Elma Hill. It was discoveved by a team conducting surveys in the Middle Black Sea region under the direction of M. Özsait. It measures 175 m in diameter, and 2 m in height. It has been heavily destroyed due to cultivation. Sherds dating to the Late Chalcolithic Age, Early Bronze Age I, II, III, 2nd Millennium BC (Colony, Early Hittite, Hittite Empire), Iron Age, Hellenistic and Roman Periods were collected from the surface.
