The Farm of Döken lies on a slightly rolling terrain between the northwestern slopes of the Mount Hisarli and the Lake Armutlu, 24 km north of Enez. The survey conducted by S. Basaran in the farm yielded fragments of black-painted vessels, black and red painted roof tiles and sherds dating to the Roman Period. Spreading onto a small area, the site was probably used as a farm during the Ancient Age as it is at present. |
