It rests on a high rocky plateau called Asarkaya by the locals on the immediate side of the road connecting Dogulusah with Sabuncupinar, approximately 2 km northwest of the Dogulusah Village. It was discovered in 2001 by T. Tüfekçi Sivas and H. Sivas. Foundation holes opened into the bedrock, silos and cisterns in circular plans, and structures with walls carved into the bedrock are observed on the plateau. Plenty of sherds belonging to the Phrygian grey ware was collected from the slopes. There are rock structures from the Byzantine Period on the skirts of the fortress. Three Phrygian rock tombs were carved into the rock mass across the fortress. The grave chambers with a rectangular plan have gable roofs. Each has benches adjacent to the lateral and rear walls. 200 m to the west of the fortress is a rectanbular niche with a slightly curved upper section on one of the low rock masses accross the road. The rock in front of this niche, which is 1 m high above the ground, was levelled to form a platform.
