It is an ancient suburb settlement on the shore of a natural port lying to the northeast of the Demircili harbour. Spreading alongside the shore on a slope inclining toward south, this site had been uninterruptedly occupied from the Archaic Period until the Byzantine Period based on the surface finds [Tuna 1988:310]. |
