On the southeastern skirts of the Mount Mercimek, which is 1203 m high, lying 2 km northwest of Asarcik (Senyurt), there is a cistern on a plain ground, and also a rock grave on the eastern section of the mount, visible from the plain and the road. During the survey on the plain ground on which the cistern is located, sherds of polychrome and monochrome ware belonging to the Early Bronze Age, Middle Bronze Age and Phrygian settlements were found in front of the rock grave and around it. Again based on the sherds, it seems that the site had been also inhabited during the Roman Period. The cistern and rock grave on the rock facing Kazova should have been built by the late inhabitants. Carved into the bedrock, the oval cistern measures 2.4x1.9 m in dimensions, with a depth of 4 m at present. The rock grave has a gabled roof, with an inner height of 1.2 m. It has a single kline (2.2x0.6 m).
