It is located within the borders of Kirsehir. It was discovered in 2002 during the surveys conducted by S. Omura in Central Anatolia. Sherds from the Iron Age were collected from the surface. S. Omura reports that the Iron Age sherds collected from this mound as well as other mounds in the vicinity are comtemporary with Kaman-Kalehöyük levels IIc and IIa, i.e they are dated from the second half of the 8th century BC to the early 7th century BC,, and from the second half of the 7th century BC to the first half of the 4th century BC, and that grey sherds found particularly at Kaman-Kalehöyük levels IIb and IIa are very frequent.
