Discovered during a survey conducted by I.H. Kurtulus in 1995, the fortress rests on a high hill between a windmill and Papazin Çiftligi Mevkii, 8 km from the Kizilagac Village. It is accessible from a ridge to the northwest. It is surrounded by a forest. It has two defence walls, including inner and outer walls. It has a circular plan in accordance with the topography of the hill. The walls were erected by stone masonry with no plaster. Stones were roughly carved in various sizes. It was indicated that the fortress was built when Thracians spent huge efforts on defense systems during the Late Iron Age after the 8th century BC, and then it was also occupied throughout the Middle Age.
