| It rests on a hill overlooking the envrionment behind the Çirpili Village of the Tutak District in Agri. Fragments of fortification walls have been spreaded onto a wide terrain. There exits a water tunnel with rock steps descending from the fortress down to the water. The bottom occluded section of this tunnel has been recently removed as a result of illicit diggings. The fortress bears characteristics of the Iron Age in terms of structure. |
