The Büyünlü Dolmens were first surveyed by S.A. Kansu in 1963. Located 300 m north of the Büyünlü Village, and locally called "Kapakli Kaya" (Capped Rock) and "Peri Kizi Evi" (The Elf House), they consist of six dolmens, four of them being surrounded by elms [Kansu 1963:pics. 1-4], one among the vineyards to the east of this group with a watch box built over it [Kansu 1963:pic. 5] and another one inside a ploughed field 300 m far from the road leading to Lalapasa to the west of Dikilitas [Kansu 1963:pic. 6]. One of the four-dolmen group has been completely, while another one partly, destroyed. All of the dolmens were built with monolithic rough stone blocks. They face northwest. They stand on a small rounded hump with a diameter of ca. 12 m. They were also investigated during the surveys conducted under the direction of M. Özdogan, and numbered as A 3/7 a-d in the publication [Özdogan 1992:pic. 1]. Özdogan referred to the four dolmens, two in ruins and other two being destroyed, lying 50 m northeast of the Büyünlü Village as the Büyünlü Dolmens (ones with caps). The dolmen in Dikilitas Mevkii was also examined by Beksaç in 2009. Beksaç stated that the dolmen is located in the middle of a high and open area. It has a single room and a dromos. Although it contains a room and a cover stone, there are no dromos [Beksaç 2011:131].
