It is a small mound lying immediately next to the former Ankara-Kayseri motorway among the fields, 1 km northwest of the Boyaciönü Village, approximately 5 km east of the Beynam Village, 21 km northwest of the Bala District in Ankara. The skirts have been slightly destroyed by bulldozer. It has been cultivated. It measures 64 m long in the north-south direction, and 28 m long in the east-west direction, with a height around 8 m. It was discovered by S. Omura in 1993 during the surveys conducted in the Central Anatolia. The finds are concentrated on the eastern and northeastern slopes of the mound. Majority of the sherds are dated to the second half of the Iron Age and Islamic Period.
