The Bolatçik Village lies 8 km far from Akören, 23 km far from the Alaca District of Çorum. The mound rests on the opposite slopes strecthing along the stream to the south of the village. It is 15 m high, the long axis being 70 m. Two Roman milestones were found here, one in the graden of the school, and the other in the village. Furthermore, a Classical Age vessel uncovered by the villagers in the fields was sent to the Museum of Çorum. Sherds from the 2nd Millennium BC and Iron Age were collected from the surface. |
