It was inscribed onto the lower section of a small stele found in Bitlis. It has been preserved at the Museum of Van. The readable part on the front face is as follows: "Édid É560 people Épartly I slew, partly I took alive. I gave the men to warriors, Éexpelled out..". Rear part reads: "Whoever destroys this inscription, whoever breaks it, may God Haldi (and all) gods remove (him) under before the sun." |
