| It lies on a hill overlooking the fertile Çayirli Plain, which is irrigated by Karasu passing through north of the mound, 12 km northeast of the Çayirli District in Erzincan. Like a dune measuring 13x14 m in dimensions, the mound is 50 m high above the plain level. Sherds collected from the mound are dated to the Early Bronze, Late Iron and Middle Ages. |
