The Balmahmut Village lies 4 km far from Afyonkarahisar. The tomb was carved onto the southern façade of the rocky hill at Ateslik Mevkii, 420 m west of the village. It was disturbed by illicit diggings. Later on, a cleaning work was carried out by the Archaeological Museum of Afyonkarahisar. It was investigated and delineated in 2005 by T. Tüfekçi Sivas and H. Sivas. It has a dromos with a gable roof and a single chamber. |
