It is a Byzantine fortress, erected carving the natural rocks, 55 km far from Konya on the Konya-Beysehir motorway in the Meram District of Konya. It was visited by H. Bahar in 1997. In the vicinity of fortress, sherds dating to occupation from the 2nd Millennium BC until the Byzantine Period were found. There is a stepped rock monument above the fortress. Behind the fortress, there is a cistern with 43 steps and a temple, presumably from the Iron Age.
