It is located in the Mazgirt District of Tunceli. It rests on the uplands of Tunceli. It is included in the western expansion area of the Urartu Kingdom. Peri Suyu runs nearby. Remains built over Urartian ruins are observed. There are rock stairs, and they seem to be similar to the Urartian rock stairs. Based on the sherds, the fortress is considered to be dating to the Iron Age. |
