| It lies 14 km west of Marmara Ereglisi [Sevin 1986a: pl. 299, pics. 1-2]. M. Özdogan identified the site so called Aytepe/Altintarla as a third settlement contemporary with Degirmenalti and Karaevlialti during the survey in 1980 [Sevin 1986:549]. V. Sevin visited Aytepe/Altintarla during the surveys conducted in 1980-81 on the shores of the North Marmara Sea, and collected East Greek sherds from the surface. |
