It lies on a high natural elevation, 3 km west of the Cizönü Village in the Yildizeli District of Sivas. It has been entirely vacated through illicit diggings, exposing the rounded stone wall of the grave chamber in the western section of the tumulus, which was built with stacked flat blocks. Approximately one third of the wall was exposed, with a height of around 2 m, and the diameter of the grave chamber is ca. 18-19 m. Sherds from the Early and Middle Iron Ages and Hellenistic-Roman Periods were found around the tumulus and in the soil recently removed during illicit diggings. |
