It lies 1 km southeast of the Güzelbeyli Town, 33 km southeast of Zile. It measures 50x100 m in dimensions, and it is ca. 350 m above the sea level. Surrounded by abysses on three sides, it is a naturally fortified rocky hill. It dominates the entire plain and the Silis Strait. Sherds dating to the Iron Age and Roman Period were collected from the surface, which has been partly destroyed. On the steep slopes facing east, there are two rock alcoves with a levelled entrance. |
