It is located within the provincial borders of Kirsehir. It was discovered during a survey conducted in the Central Anatolia by S. Omura in 2002. Sherds from the Iron Age were collected from the surface. It was reported by S. Omura that the Iron Age sherds collected from the mounds in the region along with this mound are contemporary with the Kaman-Kalehöyük IIc, IIa layers, i.e. the second half of the 8th century BC and the early 7th century BC, and there are some are dating from the second half of the 7th century until the 4th century BC, and particularly sherds of the grey-colored ware uncovered from the Kaman-Kalehöyük IIb are very common.
