It is located at the Soravan Mevkii, 500 m east of the Arihan Meadow east of the Uzuntekne Village on the Pasandast Plane of the Catak District, approximately 71 km southwest of Van. It is 2350 m above the sea level. The Tomb of Arihan rests on a rocky hill. The hill and the stones in the vicinity are of andesite. The tomb is in the nnorth-south direction, enclosed by a row of stones in rectangular plan again in the same direction. The upper part of the tomb is composed of large and roughly dressed andesite stones. Unfortunately, this monumental tomb was partly destroyed during the Middle Age. The grave chamber measures 6.3 m in lenght, 2.5 m in width and ca. 2 m in height. The southern wall was carved into the natural rock while the other walls were erected using the corbelling technique with mid-size stones.
