Remains of an ancient road is observed at the exit of the village when headed to the north from the Hatundere Village. The road extends up to the skirts of the Alabahçe Hill. Based on the small finds in the region, it seems that the site had been inhabited from the 6th century BC until the Byzantine Period [Erkanal-Öktü-İren 2004:247]. |
