They are located at Akkayalar Mevkii near the Sazak Train Station in the Yunus Emre Village. They were found and delineated in 2001 by T. Tüfekçi-Sivas and H. Sivas. They are composed of two grave chambers which were carved onto two low rock mass close to each other. Both reflect features of the Phrygian rock chambers in plan and architecture, and they are single chambered and barrel vaulted. The grave no.1 has an almost-square rectangular entrance. The entrance to the grave no.1 has been destroyed. Both has no bench, and the floor of the chambers were leveled and left empty. |
