| Killik Village lies 26 km southeast of the Alaca District. 700 m northwest of the village lies Tombultepe Höyük. The longer axis measures 110 m while the height is 23 m. It is a steep mound. It overlooks the valley in front. Besides the sherds collected from the surface, a bull head statue found by the watchman of the vineyard in the vicinity of the mound was delivered to the Archaeological Museum of Çorum by A. Süel et al at the end of the 1987 campaign. The surface finds consist of EBA, 2nd Millennium BC, Iron Age, and Classical Period sherds. |
