It is situated on the right side of the road that leads into the Tepetarla village, 1 km southwest of the Village, approximately 9 km from Bayburt. It is one of the highest mounds in the Bayburt region. At present it has been located at the center of a major cultivation area. A few building remains were identified on the northeastern and southwestern sections of the mound. The sherds collected from the mound are dated to the Iron Age. |
