Inundated by Atatürk Dam; the mound used to lie south of Adiyaman; 6 km east of Akpinar; 1 km southeast of Mazilik; on west bank of Çakal stream; on a hill; facing the stream. The cultural deposit of the settlement is 3 m thick. Discovered during the Lower Euphrates Survey conducted by M. Özdogan in 1977; sherds of dark faced burnished; dark faced non-burnished; and chaff-faced (?) wares dating to the Chalcolithic Age were collected. In addition EBA; Iron Age and Classical Period ceramics were found on the surface. The location code of the site is T 50/18.
