It rests on a high rocky terrace on the eastern section of the valley in which the Tatlarin Town is located in the Acigöl District of Nevsehir. The fortress has a natural defense, being 50-60 m high above the rocky terrace with an appearance of an artificial fortress. It measures 150x200 m in dimensions. It was discovered during the Survey of the Nevsehir Province conducted under the direction of S.Y. Senyurt in 1997. Several Hellenistic-Roman Period sherds and Iron Age sherds were collected from the surface. |
