It is situated at Hidrellez Mevkii, approximately 1 km south of the Taskesen Village, 8 km from the Aydintepe of Bayburt. It has an altitude of 1630 m. It is a small scale site, and to the immediate south runs the Çayiryolu Stream. It has been destroyed both due to cultivation and illicit diggings. EBA and abundant number of Iron Age sherds were found. The mound is erected on an area of 50 by 55 m. But the potteries unearthed on the surrounding lands on the South, East and West sides of the mound that are used for farming show that the size of the site is larger [Çiğdem et al. 2011:155].
