It is situated 1 km north of the Saygili Village, 8 km east of the Çayirli District in Erzincan. A stream flows by the northern side, which is the steepest section. It has a height of 45 m, measuring 47 m long in east-west direction, and 36 m long in north-south direction. The southeastern part of the mound has been heavily destroyed due to illicit diggings using caterpillars. Fragments of pithoi are found, most probably broken during these illicit diggings. Analysis on illicitly dug sections indicate that the site suffered a great fire. It was reported that the cutstones unearthed from the mound were removed by the villagers. Several intact pithoi were seen in the village. Sherds collected from the surface bear characteristics of the Late Iron Age and Middle Age pottery, and majority of them are from the Middle Age. They are qualified examples.
