It was formed on a natural elevation 1 km northeast of the Kaldirim Village, 11 km east of the Çelebi Town in the Keskin District of Kirikkale. It was discovered during the Central Anatolian Survey conducted under the direction of S. Omura in 1991. It is quite a flat settlement. The area on which the sherds are scattered around is 190 m long in north-south direction, and 105 m in east-west direction. The bed of the Kizilirmak River flows westwards through the skirt of Sari Musali. Sherds collected from the surface belong to the 2nd Millennium BC, Iron Age, Classical Age and Middle Age settlements. |
