| Currently called Tekirdag, it was found during the Epigraphical Surveys in Thrace conducted by Z. Tasliklioglu in 1966. There is a grave stele recovered from the foundation of a house construction on the Postahane Bayiri Street in the Turgut Quarter. It bears a well preserved inscription. Based on the characters, the stele was dated to 540-400 BC. The name referred in the inscription is a Thracian name. |
