It is located on the northern skirt of the Mount Süphan on the road to Erçis in the Patnos District, 80 km south of Agri. It consists of seven Urartian inscriptions identified on basalt or stone blocks in the district of Patnos and its vicinity. At present, five of these inscriptions have been preserved at the Ankara Anatolian Civilizations Museum while tow of them are exhibited at the Museum of Van. The first inscription is also known as Patnos Ziyarettepe inscription. It reads: "By the might of God Haldi, Ispuini, the son of Sarduri, built this... (Here) nothing like this was erected so perfect before. Ishpuini, the son of Sarduri built this ...." The second inscription reads: "By the might of God Haldi, Ishpuini, the son of Sarduri, and Menua, the son of Ishpuini built the Susi of God Ua to perfection. In favor of God Haldi, God Ua and the gate of Ua, let Ishpuini, the son of Sarduri, Menua, the son of Ishpuini, and Inuspua, the son of Menua to have life, happiness and greatness. When a new building (?) is erected, sacrifice a bull for God Haldi, a bull for God Ua, and a sheep for the gate of Ua... To the weapon of God Haldi..." The third inscription reads: "By the might of God Haldi, Menua, the son of God Ishpuini, built this fortress to perfection. By the greatness of the God Haldi, Menua, the son of Ishpuini is the mighty king, the great king, the king of the Land of Bianili and lord of the city of Tushpa. The fourth inscription is on a basalt pedestal, which was used as a grindstone at Patnos Ziyarettepe. It reads; "Menua, the son of Ishpuini built this building (3x)". The fifth inscription was engraved on two pieces of a basalt pedestal, and it reads: "Menua, the son of Ishpuini built this building (3x)" The sixt inscription was inscribed on two pieces of a basalt pedestal, and it reads: "Menua, the son of Ishpuini built this building (3x)." The seventh inscription was engraved on both shanks of a loose-jawed shank in bronze. And, it reads: "Property of Menua." The eight inscription was engraved on both shanks of a loose-jawed shank in bronze. And, it again reads: "Property of Menua." The ninth inscription was on a somewhat round flat stone in the Patnos Church. And, it reads: By the greatness of Haldi, Sarduri, the son of Argishti built this granary. It has 18,4XtenX kapis (measure)."
