| Ö. Ertugrul visited four caves at Palamutdere-Kircalidere Mevkii of Çakilli Village to the south of Vize during a survey he conducted in 1995, and reported that the two-storey cave which is called Magara (the Cave) 1 in his publication, was used by the Thracians, and then again during the Byzantine Period while the other caves are from the Roman-Byzantine Periods. |
