Adiyaman Mound
(Adiyaman/Centrum)

A Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age settlement again. There is a pine grove on it. All of its slopes and skirts are occupied by the houses of the old town Adiyaman. Soil was removed from its slopes and cobblestone streets, concrete stairways and causeways were built instead. Although it is referred to as the ‘castle’ by the locals there is not even a hint of any castle remains on it. Instead, there is an establishment with a signboard that reads “Castle, Family Tea Garden” on top.
