It is located on the southern ridges of the valley where the Gözeren Creek; a small branch of the Aydinlar River; flows near Ovaköy; approximately 20 km east of Karadeniz Ereglisi. Both sides of the Gözeren Valley are covered with rocks; slopes while the plains beyond are covered with woods. The cave is situated on the southern part of the valley on a rock occupying a large and massive space. A natural cave in the mid of the rocks and an archaeological deposit on a platform next to it were found. The mouth of the northerly-southerly directed cave faces the valley. There is a shaft-like opening at the southern end. It has been suggested that the top had been completely or mostly covered during the times when it was inhabited.
Location: The site is located on the southern ridges of the valley formed by theGözeren stream; which is a small branch of Aydinlar River; close to Ovaköy; about 20 km east of Karadeniz Ereglisi.
