It is located in the Yukari Erhaci Village of the Igdir Merkez District. It lies 5 km south of the Hazine Tepe settlement. It was explored during the Pre-Classical Survey in the Eastern Anatolia by C. Marro and A. Ozfirat in 2002. The Gicik Mevkii was probably used as a small cemetery during the Iron Age. A dozen of potsherds dating to the Late Chalcolithic Age were uncovered inside a natural cavity formed by eruption. |
