| The cave bears two separate steep vertical descents, totaling 54 m. Following the descents the gallery horizontally extends in northwest and southwest directions. It was reported by the village inhabitants that the sinkhole is active during times of intense precipitation. The cave is well known by speological communities in Istanbul and was measured in 2007 and in June 2008 by ASPEG. |
