Uzuntarla Cave is a fossil cave located between Evrenli and Balkaya Villages in Vize. It is formed in old limestone layers of Strandja Massif. After the entrance, the first 5 m of the cave base are covered with depression rocks and then this passage starts getting narrower. This slim passage enters a large gallery which contains many flowstone formations. The floor of this gallery is covered with guano and mud. The total length of the cave is 135 m and the maximum height is 6 m. There is a resident Rhinolophus blasii colony in Uzuntarla Cave. This colony uses this cave both for hibernation and as a nursery roost. Six invertebrate species were also recorded, most of them belonging to Class Insecta.
