Location: It lies within the borders of the Incek Village; and is accessible from the road. |
Structural Properties and formation : It was formed within the Permo-Triassic aged limestone blocks. The limestone which does not have widespreading characteristics has a surface expansion of 5-7.5 km and a thickness of 30-40 m. The cave consists of a horizontally elongating gallery and branches connected to that gallery. It has been entirely fossilized; and small lakes are common depending on the seasonal leakage of surface waters. |
Research History: It was explored during the joint survey of MAD and MTA in 1992; and mapped to the BCRA 3c standards. |
