Ocak Cave is located 3 km north-west of Sergen Village on the west side of Kanli Creek near the stone quarries. According to information gathered from the villagers, half of the cave was destroyed during the stone quarry activities. Ocak Cave is formed in thin limestone rocks inside the southern Paleozoic granites and metamorphic rocks of Strandja Massif. The cave is shaped with a small vertical crack in the limestone, 6-8 m high and 2-4 m wide. Despite the fact that Ocak is a small cave many invertebrate species were found and a nursery colony of Rhinolophus blasii. Ocak Cave is very close to the Bašlar, so it is possible that the colonies in these caves inhabit both of them temporarily.
