It is located in the Marsyas Karstik Spring of the Dinar District. There is a small siphon exposing from the bottom of rocks and opening into a large pool in the immediate front of the hotel run by the Dinar Vocational School of Tourism and Hotel Management under the University of Afyon. The entrance of the cave is behind this hotel. There is an inscription in front of the spring about the legend of Marsyas stating that this is the cave referred to in the legend. It was explored by MAD in 1995; and mapped to the BCRA 3c standards. |
