The region is completely formed within the fractured and jointed Miocene limestones. The most common fossil groups in the region are Gastropods and Shells. It is a sinkhole type of cave which halted its development. It was explored by the Cave Research Club of the Dokuz Eylül University in 1997 during the surveys called "Yörük". |
