Location: It can be reached from the Bilecik-Inegöl or Bilecik-Yenisehir motorways. The roads passing by the Dönmez and Tekke Villages from Inegöl; and by the Subasi-Akbiyik-Tekke Villages from Yenisehir lead near to the cave.
Structural Properties and formation : The water inflowing to the polje which is closed on the surface where the cave is located; is drained into underground via the sinkhole canal. They resurge at the springs near the Ciceközü (Lümbe) Village; which is 4.5 km away. The surveyed part of the cave; which has double entrance with one being abandoned (fossil); is 105 m long. As the sinkhole gathers the water of an extensive area; there is a permanent groundwater and tanks up to 2 m depth at some places. One of these tanks ends up with a siphon. According to the report issued by MTA; the cave continues after the siphon; but only a distance of 70-80 m could have been advanced. It is estimated to have a total length of 2 km. Being an active cave; it has no or little dripstone decoration.
Research History: It was explored and mapped by MTA; and published in 1997.
